Gaza strikes target Nukhba terrorists and Hamas commanders

The IDF reported eliminating two Nukhba terrorists and four additional Hamas terrorists in separate aerial strikes on Saturday and October 22. Two of those eliminated had infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre.

On Saturday, a strike in the Khan Yunis area eliminated Muhammad Kamel Masleh Qadih, who the IDF said infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the massacre and was responsible for the operational readiness of Nukhba terrorists.

A separate strike in the Nuseirat area eliminated Diaa Abd al-Mohsen Muhammad Abu al-Rous, a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’ military wing.

Two additional strikes in northern Gaza on Saturday eliminated Nabil Hamad, a department head in Hamas’ recruitment apparatus who was directly involved in strengthening and rebuilding its military wing, and Mohannad Nader Mahmoud Dahdouh, a sniper commander who actively participated in combat and carried out terrorist attacks against IDF troops, according to the military.

The IDF also reported that two strikes in northern Gaza on October 22 eliminated Wael Naif Fahmi Muslim, a Nukhba terrorist who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre, and Arafat Kamal Muhammad Ar’air, a squad commander in Hamas’ rocket array.

The military said the six had advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians throughout the war, particularly recently, and worked to restore Hamas’ capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire. It said the aerial strikes were carried out to remove the threats they posed.

Weapons and Hezbollah symbols found in a civilian home

Troops of the 769th Brigade, operating under the 91st Division in the security zone in southern Lebanon, are working to dismantle terrorist infrastructure around Al-Khiam and remove threats to Israeli civilians, according to the IDF.

During searches, troops found weapons inside a civilian home, along with a children’s room bearing symbols associated with the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

The troops also located and dismantled a storage facility for explosive drones. Additional weapons and equipment found included rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, helmets, vests, ammunition and explosive drones.

IDF confirms completion of Hebron raid

The military confirmed that it had completed its raid in Hebron and withdrawn from the neighborhood where two gunmen responsible for a deadly checkpoint attack had lived.

Palestinian media had earlier reported Israeli withdrawals from several neighborhoods following an 11-day operation. The withdrawal came about a week after the operation was announced, with the city returning to normal.

The operation followed the October 23 attack at a checkpoint on the outskirts of Hebron, in Judea and Samaria. Hebron residents Mohammad Jaaba and Firas Jaaba killed Staff Sgt. Ron Yonatan Roytman and Sgt. Yuval Shai Svilem and wounded three other troops before being shot dead.

In response, the military demolished illegally built structures near the checkpoint and raided the gunmen’s neighborhood to demolish their homes, while also operating elsewhere in the city. The raid displaced thousands of residents.

The IDF reported detaining dozens of suspects for questioning and seizing three firearms after searching hundreds of buildings.

According to Channel 12’s Amit Segal, political officials claimed they had agreed to the IDF’s request to end the operation under two conditions: that the military expand its use of the new measure of evacuating civilians from urban areas following a terrorist attack, and that a warning be conveyed to the Palestinian Authority that another attack would lead to more extensive evacuations.
