Netanyahu urges right-wing unity; Joint List celebrates and Trump credits his endorsement

Netanyahu urges a broad right-wing government

Speaking at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, Netanyahu called for a broad right-wing government but avoided the word “victory.” He said Likud was Israel’s largest party and accused channels he described as propaganda outlets of manipulating public opinion with polls showing it at just 18 seats.

Netanyahu said the right-wing bloc had a clear majority among the Jewish public, opposed forming a government reliant on anti-Zionist Arab parties and urged the Zionist majority to come to its senses and unite. He asked:

“How can you talk about an alliance of those who serve with those who serve the enemies of the state?”

“I would like to thank all my loyal coalition partners who contributed to the war effort,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu’s remarks signaled that he would not abandon his coalition partners and would welcome others to join, without a rotation agreement. Likud figures believe their lead will widen further.

On Iran, Netanyahu said this was just the beginning.

Joint List celebrations include dedication to Gaza

Members celebrated at the party’s headquarters by singing “Biladi, Biladi” (“My Country, My Country”).

Former MK Osama Saadi said there:

“We dedicate this victory to our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem.”

President Trump credits his Netanyahu endorsement

President Trump claimed his support had reversed Netanyahu’s electoral fortunes:

“When President Trump endorsed Bibi Netanyahu, the whole tide turned, and now, rather than a decisive defeat for a Great Prime Minister, it looks like a big come-from-behind stalemate, or even a WIN for Netanyahu. It all took place AFTER the Endorsement by President Trump, who only wants what is good for the Middle East, Israel, and the United States of America!”
