Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives eliminated
The IDF and Shin Bet announced the elimination in Jabalia of a Hamas terrorist who infiltrated Israel on October 7, 2023, and helped abduct Shani Louk’s body. Named Tamer Muhammad Ibrahim al-Sabbagh in one account and Tamer Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Zabaq in an IDF statement, he was identified by the military among those photographed with Louk in a pickup truck in Gaza.
Louk, 22, had attended the Supernova festival. The military said the terrorist was the cell’s last surviving member outside Israeli custody: three others were eliminated and one captured. Accounts conflict over whether the strike occurred Monday or “yesterday” relative to the October 21 reporting.
Separate IDF and Shin Bet airstrikes eliminated senior Hamas General Security Mechanism official Akram Bassam Shaaban Yassin in Gaza City on October 21 and Hamas military wing and Nukhba member Musa Abd Muhammad Hamouda there on Sunday.
According to the military, Yassin’s apparatus protects leaders, secures communications, meetings and movement, and prepares intelligence assessments supporting decisions and terror plots. His elimination followed June strikes against senior commanders in the apparatus.
The military said Hamouda helped plan the September 8, 2025, explosive-device attack on a tank of the 401st Armored Brigade’s 52nd Battalion that killed Lieutenant Matan Abramovitz, Staff Sergeant Uri Lemad, also rendered Lamed, Sergeant Amit Aryeh Regev and Sergeant Gadi Cotal during Operation Gideon’s Chariots. It credited the 162nd Division’s 215th Fire Brigade with eliminating him.
In separate Monday strikes, the IDF said it eliminated Islamic Jihad rocket-array deputy platoon commander Abdullah Munir Mahmoud Harz in Daraj Tuffah and Hamas Daraj Tuffah Battalion sniper Muhammad Wael Mustafa Sha’sha’a in Gaza City. Harz had advanced sniper attacks against troops.
The military attributed recent attacks or preparations against troops and civilians and efforts to restore military capabilities in violation of the ceasefire to the operatives in these accounts, saying the strikes removed their threats.

Security operations and tomb-fire investigation
IDF and Border Police forces mapped the Beit Ur al-Tahta home of the terrorist behind the Bell checkpoint ramming that seriously wounded a reservist. Demolition remains subject to security recommendations, procedures and required approvals.
Security forces detained participants in an uncoordinated olive harvest near Beitar Illit, citing the security risk near an Israeli community. The landowner received coordination instructions for another date.
The military said about 100 coordinated harvests across Judea and Samaria had yielded many dozens of tons without unusual incidents. Advance coordination is required in the area, and designated harvesting zones admit only harvesters carrying out that work.
In Awarta, troops responded October 21 to a report and footage of a tomb being set on fire. No injuries were reported; suspects fled before soldiers arrived.
Police and forensic investigators were preparing to collect evidence and statements under IDF protection. The IDF condemned the incident and said forces were seeking the suspects.

Reported Israeli base preparations in Syria
A local source reported Israeli helicopter deliveries of weapons, equipment and advanced systems over 72 hours to Jabal al-Arab in Sweida province for a base that could include radar.
According to the source, local Druze authorities barred civilians from approaching or photographing the sites.
