IDF reports three Hamas terrorists eliminated and reveals explosives plan near Gaza camps

From an Israel RealTime advertising partner.

Three Hamas terrorists eliminated in Gaza

The IDF said a weekend airstrike in Tuffah in the northern Gaza Strip eliminated Abdullah Mohammed Khamis Jaber, a terrorist in Hamas’ military wing. Jaber assisted in producing various weapons, played a significant role in Hamas’ production headquarters, and participated in its rehabilitation and development.

In additional weekend airstrikes, the military said it eliminated Majed Ahmed Mustafa Sabbagh, a Hamas military-wing cell commander, in Tuffah, and Amer Bashir Mohammed Khourani, a terrorist in the military wing’s engineering battalion, in Jabalia.

According to the IDF, the three had recently advanced terror attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and worked to restore Hamas’ military capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire. The military said the strikes were carried out to remove the threat.

IDF reveals Hamas explosives planning document

The IDF revealed what it described as an internal Hamas document from April 2024, disclosed publicly for the first time, detailing proposals to plant explosive devices around displaced persons camps in Gaza during the war.

According to the military, Hamas’ engineering department proposed detonating the devices as IDF troops approached, creating panic to conceal the escape of Hamas operatives while placing civilians in the camps at risk. The document also proposed planting explosives along routes used by Gaza residents to delay Israeli troops’ advance, and firing stun grenades into the camps to create chaos and allow Hamas terrorists hiding there to flee.

The IDF said the proposals formed part of Hamas’ preparations to protect its leadership and operatives and evacuate them from areas where Israeli troops were expected to operate. It said Hamas knowingly endangered and exploited civilians through actions likely to cause them direct harm, describing the document as further evidence of the organization’s willingness to endanger Gaza’s civilian population to advance its terrorist activities.
