Six Hamas terrorists eliminated in Gaza
The IDF says six Hamas terrorists were eliminated in airstrikes across Gaza from October 22 to 26. According to the military, all six advanced attacks against troops and Israeli civilians throughout the war, particularly in recent days, and worked to restore Hamas’ capabilities “in systematic violation of the ceasefire.” It says the strikes removed the threats they posed.
Among those killed was Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist struck in southern Gaza on October 22. The IDF says he infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7, 2023 massacre and participated in abducting Israeli civilians, including Alexander Dancyg.
During the war, he also helped hold numerous hostages in southern Gaza, including soldier Sgt. 1st Class Nimrod Cohen.
The military identified two other October 7 participants killed on October 25: Nukhba commander Anas Akram Muhammad Humaida, who infiltrated the Sufa outpost and was struck in the Khan Yunis area; and Ashraf Mahmoud Yusuf Dahlan, a company commander in Hamas’ East Jabalia Battalion who infiltrated Israeli territory and was struck in Gaza City.
The other three, according to the IDF, were Nukhba platoon commander Omar Awadallah and Hamas Nukhba terrorist Moataz Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Nimr, killed in northern Gaza on October 23, and Mahmoud Othman Abdullah Alwan, a Nukhba commander in Hamas’ West Jabalia Battalion, killed in Gaza City on October 26.
In a separate incident on October 28, the IDF says troops eliminated a terror operative who crossed the “Yellow Line” in southern Gaza, acting immediately after identifying him to remove the threat.

Counterterrorism operations in Judea
IDF and Yamas forces continued operations in Judea following the October 23 attack in Hebron that killed Staff Sergeant Ron Yonatan Roytman and Sergeant Yuval Shai Svilem and lightly injured additional soldiers.
Forces operating in the Hebron area confiscated an M16 rifle, knives and other items.
Yamam forces, acting on Shin Bet intelligence, apprehended six suspects at several locations, including an individual affiliated with Hamas. The suspects were allegedly involved in terrorist activities, including planning and facilitating attacks.
Near Shechem, Battalion 8208 demolished the homes of two terrorists.
Egyptian national apprehended inside Israel
An Egyptian national who crossed into Israel overnight was apprehended approximately two kilometers from the border fence and transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning, according to the Israeli military.
An initial military probe found that surveillance soldiers identified him crossing the fence at around 1:45 a.m. The military says they maintained continuous surveillance until troops apprehended him in an area far from communities and IDF bases.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry claims the man has been missing since July and is “psychologically unstable.”
