Final election appeals and Western Wall visits
Netanyahu, Smotrich and Tropper visited the Western Wall to pray on election eve.
Hours before voting begins, Netanyahu continued criticizing Winter, saying: “He will bring us down.” Efforts within Netanyahu’s bloc to persuade Leitner to withdraw continued into the final hours, with their prospects described as slim.
Bennett suggested that he and Lieberman might agree that either could become prime minister, arguing that the number of seats was completely irrelevant.
President Trump denies discussing endorsement request
President Trump denied that his message of support the previous night was posted in response to requests from Netanyahu, saying: “We didn’t discuss it.”
No new polls identified during publication ban
As of October 26, no credible new Israeli national election poll has been identified since the October 23 surveys. The Central Elections Committee’s ban on publishing previously unreleased election polls took effect at 11:59 p.m. on October 23 and remains in force until polls close on October 27.
Articles published October 24–26 predominantly analyze or aggregate existing surveys. The October 23 polls remain divided: Netanyahu’s bloc receives 50 seats in Kan 11, Channel 12 and News 13, compared with 59 in i24NEWS and 62 in Channel 14.
Eisenkot generally receives 20–23 seats. Whether Winter and Hendel-Zelekha cross the electoral threshold remains a principal uncertainty.
No new polling evidence changes the previously assessed mathematical path to a 61-seat majority or establishes genuine movement in the Likud–Bennett gap.
