Iran and U.S. options
Netanyahu cited intelligence indicating Iran and its proxies may attack to disrupt Israel’s elections, warning:
“Don’t test us — you will suffer disproportionately severe blows.”
Trump left open renewed bombing or a deal, saying Iran wanted an agreement but questioning whether it would honor one. He said it would be very easy to “finish it off” and added: “We know what’s going on at Pickaxe Mountain”. He also said the U.S. would not attack Iran on the day of that statement.
Israel’s alert level reached its highest point, Channel 12 reported. According to Fars, Iran warned that German military bases and facilities across the region would be legitimate targets if Berlin openly joined military action against Iran.
Hormuz shipping
CENTCOM said U.S. forces helped Gulf partners export over 1.5 billion barrels of crude oil since summer and supported over 3,000 commercial vessels transiting Hormuz over six months.
On October 25, Adm. Brad Cooper said primary transit routes remained clear of Iranian sea mines after clearance efforts. CENTCOM identified the IRGC as responsible for laying them.
It said over 95% of ships navigating the strait in recent months passed safely despite what it described as IRGC aggression, calling this evidence of U.S. and regional partners’ control. Cooper reaffirmed freedom of navigation and efforts to keep commercial traffic flowing.

Hebron operation and Binyamin arrest
The IDF sealed the Hebron homes of Mohammad Jaaba and Firas Jaaba overnight Sunday under orders for confiscation and temporary sealing.
The terrorists killed Staff Sgt. Ron Yonatan Roitman and Sgt. Yuval Shai Suilem and lightly wounded three soldiers in Friday’s checkpoint attack at Yehuda Junction, on Hebron’s northern outskirts. Both were eliminated in an exchange of fire.
The footage report says their elimination prevented them reaching a civilian road. The IDF plans to advance demolition of their homes. Sealing can precede or replace demolition, which generally takes months for family appeals to the High Court and operational decisions.
Paratroopers and Maglan troops arrested 12 suspects overnight, confiscated illegal vehicles and located weapons. The IDF reported approximately 50 arrests and over 500 sites searched overall.
Separately, Battalion 202 troops apprehended a Palestinian suspect in the Binyamin Brigade’s sector around Ramallah using precise Shin Bet intelligence.
The military said he planned an “imminent terror attack along a major road.” His exact arrest location was undisclosed; he was transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.
Olive harvest
IDF estimates put Judea and Samaria’s harvest at approximately 220,000 dunams and 22,500 tons of olives, with around 100 coordinated sites under security protection. It reported approximately 5,500 liters of oil produced and a value of NIS 225 million.
It said incidents attracting increased media attention involved a small proportion of harvesting areas, while the vast majority of coordinated, protected harvests proceeded as planned without unusual incidents.
Central Command received reinforcements to facilitate harvesting, protect civilians, counter terrorism and prevent confrontations. The military said personnel were working to enforce law and order against violence, crime and attempts by any party to undermine security.
