a record 26 seats, ahead of Likud at 23 and Bennett at 13. The non-Arab opposition bloc reaches 59 seats, compared with 51 for Netanyahu’s current coalition parties, with Ra’am and Hadash-Ta’al holding another 10. Eisenkot also leads Netanyahu 47% to 38% on suitability for prime minister.

Across recent Channels 12, 13, 14, KAN and i24 surveys, Netanyahu’s bloc ranges from 50 to 63 seats, averaging roughly 55 with a median of 52. Eisenkot has remained comparatively stable at 23–26 seats, while Likud and Bennett show wider variation. Channel 14’s 63-seat result therefore represents the strongest current Netanyahu scenario rather than the broader polling consensus.

The electoral threshold remains a major variable. Gantz, Tropper-Hendel, Erdan-Edelstein and Balad fall below 3.25% in Channel 13’s survey, while Religious Zionism clears it with five seats. Small movements around the threshold could redistribute several mandates. Taken together, the polling currently places Eisenkot as Netanyahu’s most consistent challenger, but neither camp holds a dependable 61-seat majority across the wider survey landscape.

Separately, Hadash-Ta’al and Balad announced a joint Knesset list without Ra’am and Mansour Abbas, including a rotation agreement involving the sixth slot. Bennett also attacked Eisenkot’s military-service position and said his own approach would include mobilizing security agencies against Qatar, bringing Egypt into Gaza instead of Turkey and Qatar, and striking Iran in response to Hezbollah fire.

⚓ U.S. SHIPPING CORRIDOR MOVES OIL THROUGH HORMUZ: The U.S. military has established a shipping corridor through the Strait of Hormuz that Axios says has been operating for several weeks. Between 15 and 20 tankers have entered and exited via a southern channel along Oman’s coast, moving approximately 10 million barrels of oil per day into the global market, roughly half the pre-war volume.

🌍 ISRAEL HIGHLIGHTS SEVEN DECADES OF INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN MISSIONS: For World Humanitarian Day, Israel reviewed major overseas rescue and medical deployments dating back to its first mission following the 1953 earthquakes in Greece. Subsequent operations included approximately 350 personnel sent to Mexico after the 1985 earthquake; teams that rescued 12 people and treated around 1,200 injured in Türkiye in 1999; a field hospital in Haiti in 2010 that treated about 1,110 patients and performed 317 surgeries; and approximately 270 personnel deployed to Nepal in 2015, where Israeli teams treated 1,600 injured, performed around 90 surgeries and assisted with eight births.

Israeli teams later treated 725 patients and performed 92 life-saving surgeries after the 2021 explosions in Bata, Equatorial Guinea. Following the 2023 Türkiye earthquakes, Israeli rescuers pulled 19 people alive from the rubble and provided medical care and assistance to approximately 180 others. In 2026, around 50 Israeli personnel were sent to Venezuela for engineering assessments, search-and-rescue expertise and development of a national recovery plan. Together with the Israeli delegation currently operating in Colombia, the missions form part of hundreds of Israeli humanitarian assistance operations conducted worldwide.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Each platoon completes eight exercises covering live fire, combat inside communities, tactical medicine and complex emergency scenarios, culminating in drills integrating local defense teams, command centers, Gaza Division forces and other responders. A technological system measures performance and identifies training gaps. The program is intended to improve communities’ ability to operate independently until IDF forces arrive and then integrate with them under a common operational doctrine. It is named in memory of 48 community defense fighters and security coordinators killed on October 7 and later in the war.

🪖 PLANNED NAHARIYA EXERCISE: The IDF will conduct a pre-planned military exercise Thursday morning in the Nahariya area as part of its 2026 training program. Increased security-force movement is expected, and the military stressed that the activity does not indicate a security incident.

🇸🇾 ISRAEL DRAWS LINE AGAINST TURKISH MILITARY EXPANSION IN SYRIA: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would not tolerate Turkish forces advancing farther south in Syria in a way that threatens Israel. His comments followed an Israeli Air Force strike on the Abu al-Duhur airbase, where Israel says Turkey had planned to deploy forces. Netanyahu said Israel had previously communicated its opposition, adding: “We will not tolerate a Turkish military entrenchment that advances southward, because it threatens us.”

Four days before the strike, Mossad chief Gofman spoke by phone with the Syrian foreign minister regarding Turkey’s military presence, according to Reuters. President Trump told Channel 12 that he knew the details of the Israeli attack but would not discuss them. An Israeli military source separately told Channel 13 that Israel does not seek “an open war with Turkey,” noting the number of other active fronts.

🎯 ZAMIR DESCRIBES SOUTHERN SYRIA AS A “FORWARD DEFENSE” BUFFER: Zamir said Israel’s military presence in southern Syria provides a buffer in front of Israeli communities while the IDF monitors changes across the Syrian front. He warned that the multi-front environment requires readiness for escalation in any arena and said Israel would not permit hostile forces to establish themselves along its borders or develop either terrorist infrastructure or a significant military threat there.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Gen. Eyal Zamir spoke with the family of Yehuda Yekutiel Katz following his return to Israel, saying the recovery means all those missing from the Battle of Sultan Yacoub have now been returned. Zamir described the effort as part of the military’s “moral commitment to bring all of our missing home.” Katz’s family thanked those involved and said his funeral would be conducted in a manner reflecting his character and would serve as a moment of national unity.

🕳️ IDF SEALS TWO ADDITIONAL HAMAS TUNNEL ROUTES: Combat engineers filled two Hamas underground routes in central and southern Gaza, east of the Yellow Line, with concrete. The tunnels had a combined length of more than two kilometers and were part of ongoing efforts to clear terrorist infrastructure from the Israeli-held portion of Gaza. The concrete method can reduce cost and risk compared with explosive demolition, although it takes longer to complete.

⚖️ MILITARY PROSECUTION ISSUES DECISIONS IN FIVE FFAM CASES: The IDF says its General Staff Fact-Finding and Assessment Mechanism has reviewed approximately 150 exceptional wartime incidents and transferred its findings to the Military Prosecution. Decisions were released in five cases involving humanitarian organizations, medical personnel and civilians.

No criminal investigation was ordered into the April 2024 World Central Kitchen strike, which killed seven WCK employees. The review found serious operational failures but concluded that forces had mistakenly assessed that Hamas operatives had taken control of the convoy after armed individuals were identified without prior coordination. Several officers had already been removed or reprimanded.

Criminal investigations were ordered into the January 2024 Hind Rajab/Hamada family incident, which resulted in nine deaths and included allegations concerning coordination of a Palestine Red Crescent ambulance, and the March 2025 Tel al-Sultan incident, where 15 Palestinians, including medical personnel and paramedics, were killed during three encounters involving rescue and UN vehicles. The FFAM identified six of those killed at Tel al-Sultan as Hamas members, while prosecutors found reasonable suspicion of criminal misconduct concerning the firing.

No criminal investigation was ordered into a February 2024 strike on an MSF building in Khan Yunis that killed two women and wounded seven people. The review found that troops fired for a military purpose at a site they assessed as threatening and did not possess updated information identifying it as an MSF location, although commanders were instructed to consider command measures over faults in the attack process. Prosecutors also declined to investigate the November 2023 MSF convoy incident in Gaza City, finding no evidence that direct fire was intentionally aimed at the convoy and assessing that two deaths may have resulted from ricochet or bullet splash from warning fire after the convoy returned north without the required coordination.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Eisenkot’s Yashar! a record 26 seats, ahead of Likud with 23 and Bennett with 13. The non-Arab opposition bloc reaches 59 seats compared with 51 for Netanyahu’s current coalition parties, while Ra’am and Hadash-Ta’al hold another 10 seats. Eisenkot also leads Netanyahu 47% to 38% on suitability for prime minister.

Across recent surveys from Channels 12, 13, 14, KAN and i24, Netanyahu’s bloc ranges from 50 to 63 seats, averaging roughly 55 with a median of 52. Eisenkot has been considerably more stable at 23 to 26 seats, while Likud and Bennett show substantially wider variation. Channel 14’s 63-seat projection therefore remains the strongest current Netanyahu scenario rather than the consensus across pollsters.

The electoral threshold could ultimately prove decisive. Gantz, Tropper-Hendel, Erdan-Edelstein and Balad are below the 3.25% threshold in Channel 13’s poll, while Smotrich’s Religious Zionism clears it with five seats. Small movements around the threshold could redistribute several mandates and significantly alter the coalition map.

Taken together, the polling suggests Eisenkot currently appears to be Netanyahu’s strongest and most consistent challenger, while neither side holds a dependable 61-seat majority across the wider polling landscape. The opposition is approaching an independent majority in several surveys, but the race remains highly sensitive to Likud and Bennett’s true strength and to which smaller parties ultimately cross the threshold.

Separately, Hadash-Ta’al and Balad announced that they will run on a joint Knesset list without Ra’am and Mansour Abbas. The announced order is: 1. Hadash chairman Yousef Jabareen, 2. Tibi, 3. Abu Shehadeh, 4. Hadash, 5. Balad, 6. Hadash, 7. Hadash, 8. Balad and 9. Ta’al, with a rotation agreement involving the sixth-place candidate.

Bennett also attacked Eisenkot’s position, saying: “Exempting 30% from military service will lead nowhere — just another round at the expense of the latest naïve politician.” He added: “We’ll mobilize the security agencies against Qatar; we’ll bring Egypt into Gaza instead of Turkey and Qatar; we’ll strike Iran in response to Hezbollah fire.”

⚓ U.S. OPERATES HORMUZ SHIPPING CORRIDOR: The U.S. military has quietly established a shipping corridor in and out of the Strait of Hormuz that has been operating for several weeks, according to Axios.

Between 15 and 20 tankers have entered and exited the strait through a southern channel along the coast of Oman. Approximately 10 million barrels of oil per day, roughly half the pre-war volume, are being transported out of the strait and injected into the global energy market.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? The goal is for communities to respond independently until IDF forces arrive and then link up effectively with them, while building a common operational language and unified combat doctrine across the area.

The program is named in memory of 48 community defense fighters and security coordinators who fell on October 7 and later in the war and is expected to continue supporting all 67 communities in maintaining and strengthening readiness.

🪖 NAHARIYA MILITARY EXERCISE: A planned IDF exercise will take place Thursday morning in the Nahariya area, with increased movement of security forces expected throughout the area. The exercise was scheduled in advance as part of the IDF’s 2026 training program. The IDF stressed that there is no concern of a security incident.

⚠️ NETANYAHU WARNS AGAINST TURKISH MILITARY ENTRENCHMENT IN SYRIA: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would not tolerate Turkish military forces advancing farther south in Syria in a manner that threatens Israel. His comments followed an Israeli Air Force strike on the Abu al-Duhur airbase, where Israel says Turkey was planning to deploy forces.

Netanyahu said Turkey had intended to establish itself at an airport farther south, near Aleppo, despite Israel having conveyed its opposition. He said: “We will not tolerate a Turkish military entrenchment that advances southward, because it threatens us. We conveyed that message: Don’t. But apparently they didn't hear it, so we made sure they understood it better.”

Four days before the Israeli strike, Mossad chief Gofman spoke by phone with the Syrian foreign minister and discussed Turkey’s military presence in Syria, according to Reuters. President Trump told Channel 12: “I know the details of the Israeli attack in Syria, but I will not talk about this matter”. An Israeli military source told Channel 13: “The last thing we need is an open war with Turkey. We already have enough hotspots to deal with”.

🛡️ ZAMIR: “FORWARD DEFENSE” POSTURE IN SOUTHERN SYRIA: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. completed reviews of approximately 150 exceptional wartime incidents since the beginning of the war and transferred them to the Military Prosecution. Decisions have now been issued in five cases involving humanitarian organizations, medical personnel and civilians in Gaza.

In the April 2024 World Central Kitchen incident, in which seven WCK employees were killed, the review found that IDF forces mistakenly assessed that Hamas operatives had taken control of the convoy after identifying armed individuals whose presence had not been coordinated with the IDF. Despite serious failures, the Military Prosecution found no reasonable suspicion of criminal misconduct and ordered no criminal investigation. Several officers had already been removed from their positions or formally reprimanded.

In the January 2024 Hind Rajab/Hamada family incident, involving fire toward a family vehicle and allegations concerning a Palestine Red Crescent ambulance, resulting in nine deaths, the Military Prosecution ordered an MPCID criminal investigation due to alleged failures in coordinating the ambulance’s movement.

A criminal investigation was also ordered into the March 2025 Tel al-Sultan incident, in which IDF troops fired during three encounters involving rescue and UN vehicles, killing 15 Palestinians, including medical personnel and paramedics. The FFAM identified six of those killed as Hamas members. The Military Prosecution determined that the firing raised reasonable suspicion of criminal misconduct. The IDF had previously issued a command remark to the 14th Brigade commander and ordered the Golani Reconnaissance Unit deputy commander to leave his position.

Regarding a February 2024 strike on an MSF building in Khan Yunis, which killed two women and injured seven others, the review found that troops fired for a military purpose at a location they assessed as threatening and did not possess updated information identifying it as an MSF site. No criminal investigation was ordered, although commanders were instructed to consider command measures over faults in the attack process.

In the November 2023 MSF convoy incident in Gaza City, in which two passengers were killed, the review found that the convoy returned north without the required coordination after being warned that doing so could endanger it. The IDF said the deaths may have resulted from ricochet or bullet splash from warning fire and found no evidence that direct fire was aimed at the convoy. The Military Prosecution found no reasonable suspicion of criminal misconduct and declined to open an investigation.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Major missions since then have included Mexico in 1985, where approximately 350 Israeli personnel assisted after the Mexico City earthquake; Türkiye in 1999, where Israeli teams rescued 12 people alive and treated approximately 1,200 injured; Haiti in 2010, where an Israeli field hospital treated around 1,110 patients and performed 317 surgeries; and Nepal in 2015, where approximately 270 personnel treated 1,600 injured, performed around 90 surgeries and assisted with eight births.

In Equatorial Guinea in 2021, Israeli medical teams treated 725 patients and performed 92 life-saving surgeries following explosions in Bata. After the 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye, Israeli teams rescued 19 people alive and provided medical care and assistance to approximately 180 others. In 2026, Israel sent around 50 personnel to Venezuela to assist with engineering assessments, search and rescue expertise and development of a national recovery plan. Together with the Israeli humanitarian delegation currently operating in Colombia, these missions form part of hundreds of Israeli assistance operations worldwide.

🇮🇱 SULTAN YACOUB MISSING RETURNED: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir spoke with the family of Yehuda Yekutiel Katz following his return to Israel after 44 years.

Zamir told the family: “Today, a circle has been closed. After 44 years, the Battle of Sultan Yacoub has come to an end. All those missing from the battle have been returned to Israel. This is a special day for me, both as Chief of the General Staff and as a soldier of the Armored Corps. From the day I enlisted in the Armored Corps, I was raised on the legacy of that battle and on the moral commitment to bring all of our missing home. An entire nation stands united with you and shares in your emotion today.”

The family thanked Zamir for his words and for the efforts to bring Yehuda home for burial in Israel. They added that his funeral would unite the nation and would be held in a manner reflecting his unique character.

❌ TWO HAMAS TUNNEL ROUTES SEALED IN GAZA: IDF combat engineers sealed two additional Hamas underground tunnel routes in central and southern Gaza, east of the Yellow Line, with a combined length of more than two kilometers.

The tunnels were filled with concrete as part of efforts to clear the Israeli-held portion of Gaza of terrorist infrastructure. Sealing tunnels with concrete can be cheaper and less risky than destroying them with explosives, although the process takes longer. The IDF also released footage from the underground routes in both areas.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? strikes on Syria’s Abu al-Duhur Air Base, where it says Turkish forces were preparing to deploy. Israel said Syria had violated an agreed security status quo despite repeated warnings that a Turkish military presence at the base would threaten Israeli security.

🪖 ZAMIR TOURS SOUTHERN SYRIA BUFFER ZONE: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured the Israeli-held buffer zone in southern Syria, held a security assessment and met reservists. He said the IDF “will not allow hostile forces to establish themselves along our borders” and must prevent both terror infrastructure and a significant military threat from developing there.

🇺🇸 U.S. OFFICIALS WARN OF ISRAEL-TURKEY CONFRONTATION RISK: Axios reported that the strike frustrated White House and senior U.S. officials despite Israel providing advance notice. U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said the operation carried “a real risk” of developing into a direct military confrontation involving Israel, Turkey and Syria, noting that Turkish forces might have scrambled aircraft had they believed they were under attack. He added that officials were relieved no lives were lost and the situation did not escalate.

✈️ SYRIAN MEDIA REPORT ISRAELI JETS ENTERED IRAQI AIRSPACE: Syrian media said Israeli fighter jets entered Syrian airspace over Daraa, flew northeast and later exited into Iraqi airspace.

🤝 ISRAEL AND GREECE HOLD MILITARY TALKS: Amid the friction with Turkey, Zamir met visiting Greek counterpart Dimitrios Choupis for military talks in Israel.

🛡️ ISRAEL MOVES TO EXPAND ARMORED-VEHICLE PROTECTION PRODUCTION: Defense Ministry and IDF Ground Forces officials visited Israel Aerospace Industries production lines for active protection systems, focusing on expanding Israeli manufacturing capacity, maintaining armored-vehicle readiness and adapting protection capabilities to changing battlefield requirements.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Potential targets include U.S. bases in Bulgaria and Cyprus and subsea cables in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian officials increasingly view renewed conflict as inevitable and warn that attacks on critical Iranian infrastructure could broaden the war beyond the Middle East.

❗️ UAE HALTS TRADE AND FINANCIAL DEALINGS WITH IRAN: The UAE says it has suspended all trade, commercial exchanges and financial transactions with Iran until further notice. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Yair Lapid are also scheduled to hold a security briefing this evening.

🎯 IDF TARGETS HAMAS COMMANDERS IN GAZA: The IDF says it eliminated a Hamas military-wing commander in Nuseirat who infiltrated Israel and participated in the October 7 massacre. Palestinian media reported one person killed. Less than half an hour later, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) struck terrorists gathered at a civilian police station in Gaza City’s Tuffah area, including a Hamas commander accused of planning attacks against Israeli troops. Palestinian media later reported nine killed and 15 wounded. The IDF said at least four Hamas military-wing terrorists and one Popular Resistance Committees terrorist were present and accused them of using the police station for military purposes.

💥 FOUR NUKHBA COMMANDERS CONFIRMED ELIMINATED IN AL-SHATI: The IDF confirmed that four commanders from Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force, all from the Beit Lahia Battalion, were eliminated in an airstrike a day earlier near Gaza City’s port. Food prices have fallen by about 72%, while 41 internationally operated bakeries produce more than 3 million pita breads per day.

🚰 Gaza is also receiving more than 70,000 cubic meters of water daily, supported by approximately 250 water trucks, 2,800 distribution points, four pipelines, desalination facilities and dozens of wells. central Gaza’s Nuseirat area who infiltrated Israel and participated in the October 7, 2023, massacre. Palestinian media reported that one person was killed in the strike. The military said it would provide further details on the terrorist’s activities when possible.

💥 IDF STRIKES HAMAS OPERATIVES AT GAZA CITY POLICE STATION: Less than half an hour later, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) struck a gathering of terrorists at a civilian police station in the Tuffah area of Gaza City. The IDF says the target included a Hamas commander who had planned attacks against Israeli troops operating in Gaza.

Palestinian media reported nine people killed and another 15 wounded. According to the IDF, at least four terrorists from Hamas’s military wing and one terrorist from the Popular Resistance Committees were present at the police station when it was struck.

The IDF said the terrorists were operating from the civilian police station to advance attacks against Israeli troops, using it for military purposes in violation of international law. It added that steps were taken before the strike to mitigate harm to civilians and said further updates would be provided once the results are clear.

🎯 FOUR HAMAS NUKHBA COMMANDERS ELIMINATED IN AL-SHATI: The IDF confirmed that four commanders from Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force, all from the Beit Lahia Battalion, were eliminated in an Israeli airstrike yesterday in the Al-Shati area of Gaza City. Palestinian media reported that the strike on a cafe near the city’s port killed six people and wounded 14.

The IDF identified those eliminated as Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad al-Masri, a Nukhba company commander who advanced attacks against IDF troops; Samed Samir Harb Abu Habal, a Nukhba platoon commander who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre; Muhammad Attar, a Nukhba platoon commander involved in advancing and carrying out attacks against IDF troops; and Muhammad Fathi Hussein Nasser, another Nukhba platoon commander involved in advancing and carrying out attacks against IDF troops.

“The commanders’ activities posed a threat to IDF troops, and they were therefore eliminated in an aerial strike to remove the threat,” the military said.

🛟 IDF DETAILS SCALE OF GAZA HUMANITARIAN AID SINCE CEASEFIRE: According to the IDF, more than 2 million tons of food have entered Gaza since the October 2025 ceasefire. Around 600 trucks enter daily, with 70–80% carrying food, while food prices have fallen by approximately 72%. Forty-one internationally operated bakeries are producing more than 3 million pita breads per day alongside dozens of local bakeries.

The IDF says Gaza is receiving more than 70,000 cubic meters of water daily, exceeding 60 liters per person. The water system is supported by roughly 250 water trucks, 2,800 distribution points, four operational pipelines, desalination facilities and dozens of wells. More than 78,000 tons of hygiene and sanitation supplies have also entered.

More than 21,000 tons of medical equipment have entered since the ceasefire, while hospital-bed capacity has increased by more than 50%. Eight permanent hospitals, four field hospitals and four medical centers are operating in northern Gaza, while two permanent hospitals and eight field hospitals are operating in the south.

The IDF says the volume of aid entering Gaza exceeds humanitarian requirements assessed by UN agencies and international organizations. It accuses Hamas of interfering with humanitarian operations, exploiting civilian infrastructure and distribution mechanisms, and attempting to smuggle prohibited items under cover of aid. Israel says it will continue coordinating with international partners to expand the humanitarian response while preventing Hamas from exploiting it.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Gen. Eyal Zamir toured the Israeli-held buffer zone in southern Syria this morning, according to the military. Zamir was joined by senior officers, held a security assessment and met with reservists operating in the area.

The visit came a day after the IDF carried out a rare strike in Syria, targeting an airbase where Israel says Turkey was planning to deploy forces. Zamir said the IDF “will not allow hostile forces to establish themselves along our borders,” adding that the military must prevent both the development of terror threats and the emergence of a significant military threat along Israel’s borders. “We will know how to use our power precisely where it is needed and when it is needed,” he said.

💥 ISRAEL CONFIRMS STRIKE AIMED AT BLOCKING TURKISH DEPLOYMENT: The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed Israel was behind the overnight airstrikes against Syria’s Abu al-Duhur Air Base, where it says Turkish forces were set to be stationed.

The Prime Minister’s Office stated: “Israel and Syria agreed to maintain the status quo on security matters, which Syria was about to violate by allowing Turkish forces to deploy at an airbase near Aleppo. Israel repeatedly warned Syria that such a deployment would pose a threat to Israel’s security. Syria chose to ignore these warnings. Israel will not tolerate threats to its security and would welcome a return to the status quo.”

⚠️ U.S. OFFICIALS CONCERNED OVER ISRAEL-TURKEY ESCALATION RISK: The Israeli strike frustrated White House and senior U.S. officials, according to Axios. The Israeli government notified White House officials in advance of the strike. Around three hours earlier, President Trump spoke with Turkish President Erdoğan by phone, although it is unclear whether the issue was discussed.

The Trump administration asked the Syrian government to show restraint, stressing that it would be easier to address the issue after the Israeli election.

U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack told i24 News that the strike “carried a real risk of rapidly escalating into a direct military confrontation between Israel and Turkey, as well as Syria.”

“The Turkish forces did not know that Israeli aircraft were heading toward this specific Syrian base, nor did they know what their objective was. Therefore, they might have decided to scramble fighter jets under the belief that they themselves were under attack. Yesterday's events were serious and concerning. Nevertheless, we are relieved that no lives were lost and that the situation did not escalate,” Barrack added.

✈️ SYRIAN MEDIA REPORT ISRAELI JETS CROSSED INTO IRAQI AIRSPACE: Syrian media reported that Israeli Air Force fighter jets entered Syrian airspace over Daraa in southern Syria last night, headed northeast and later exited Syrian airspace into Iraqi airspace.

🔹 ISRAEL, GREECE HOLD MILITARY TALKS: Amid recent tensions with Turkey, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir met with his Greek counterpart Dimitrios Choupis, who is in Israel for an official visit.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? after more than three decades of delays and international pressure. The plan is intended to connect Ma’ale Adumim with Jerusalem and create Israeli settlement contiguity in the area.

Western countries have previously warned that E1 construction would “divide the West Bank in two.” Ma’ale Adumim Mayor Guy Yifrah described the start of marketing as one of the greatest achievements for Israel and Ma’ale Adumim and said the longstanding vision was now becoming reality.

🗳️ LIKUD PRIMARIES AND ELECTION POLLING: Final turnout in the Likud primaries reached 54%, with 76,068 members voting. Prime Minister and Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu said the resulting slate reflects renewal and the integration of new figures near the top, while candidates reserved for appointment by him would further strengthen it.

Netanyahu predicted a major Likud victory and the rapid formation of a broad national government, arguing that this was necessary to prevent what he described as a left-wing government involving Eisenkot, Yair Golan, Liberman and the Arab parties. He also thanked candidates who failed to secure list positions and said he intended to involve them in the election campaign.

A Channel 14/NEXT DATA poll projects the Netanyahu-aligned bloc at 63 seats: Likud 32, Shas 10, Otzma Yehudit 8, UTJ 7 and Religious Zionism 6. Eisenkot’s Yashar receives 24 seats and Bennett-Lapid’s Together 6.

Channel 14 remains the highest Netanyahu-bloc projection among the cited major polls. Maariv projects 48 seats, Channel 13 49, Channel 12 50, KAN 52 and i24NEWS 59. Across all six surveys, the simple equal-weight average is approximately 53.5 seats and the median is 51, leaving the broader polling picture short of a clear 61-seat majority.

Eisenkot’s Yashar is comparatively stable at around 23–24 seats, while much of the variation comes from Likud, which ranges between 21 and 32, and Together, which ranges between 6 and 15. The 3.25% electoral threshold remains a major variable because several parties are polling below it, while possible Arab-party unification could reduce the number of votes lost beneath the threshold.

Taken together, the cited polling shows Channel 14 offering a viable path to a Netanyahu majority but at the upper end of the range; the broader set of surveys points more toward a hung Knesset, with the Netanyahu bloc averaging in the low-to-mid 50s. Liberman said he would not join a 58-seat minority government. President Trump did not endorse a candidate, saying it was best to stay out of Israel’s elections while leaving open the possibility of endorsing someone later.

🌎 COLOMBIA EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE: Approximately one week after the earthquake, operations are transitioning toward recovery following the Colombian government’s declaration, while searches for missing people continue.

Personnel from the “Alliance of Brothers” delegation are operating alongside Colombian and international search-and-rescue teams at major disaster sites in Cali and have contributed to locating and rescuing 17 missing people. The next phase will place greater emphasis on mapping and assessing damaged structures while continuing efforts to locate additional missing people.

The IDF said the Israeli delegation is providing search-and-rescue expertise, advanced capabilities, technologies and tools intended to support both ongoing life-saving efforts and the subsequent recovery phase.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? eastern Idlib, targeting its runway after footage emerged of Su-22 training flights over northern Syria. The base houses Syria’s fledgling post-Assad air force, including roughly two restored Su-22s, several L-39 trainers and older helicopters.

An Israeli official told Fox News that highly sensitive intelligence had been shared with the United States beforehand and suggested Syrian leader al-Sharaa may not have understood or known what was occurring. Another Israeli official told Axios the strike was intended to prevent a Turkish military buildup. Turkey denied having any presence at the base and accused Israel of using pretexts to strike neighboring countries.

Syria condemned the strikes as a violation of its sovereignty and a dangerous escalation. U.S. Special Envoy Tom Barrack likewise described them as an unnecessary escalation, arguing that the al-Sharaa government had favored de-escalation and that sustained dialogue and restraint offered a more constructive course.

Separately, Syria acknowledged possessing nuclear material remaining from the Assad regime and stated that it considers development of a civilian nuclear program its right.

🚁 IAF APACHE RELOCATION: One of the Israeli Air Force’s two Apache attack-helicopter squadrons is relocating to Ramat David Airbase.

🛡️ BEERSHEBA SECURITY CASE: A serious indictment has been filed against a Bedouin man from the Negev accused of planning an attack on the Forum nightclub in Beersheba using a car bomb.

🕯️ YEHUDA KATZ RETURNED AFTER 44 YEARS: The IDF Intelligence Directorate and Mossad returned the remains of SFC Yehuda Yekutiel Katz to Israel and his family, closing a search that began after the Armored Corps soldier fell in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub on June 11, 1982, during the First Lebanon War.

His remains were located through a joint intelligence effort and identified at the Military Rabbinate’s Fallen Soldiers Identification Center together with the Medical Corps and Israel Police. Katz’s family had been kept informed throughout decades of efforts to locate him; his parents, Sarah and Yosef Katz, did not live to receive the news.

The operation followed more than four decades of work involving the Prime Minister’s Office Missing and Captive Persons Coordinators, Mossad operational units, IDF Intelligence, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the IDF Manpower Directorate. Following the return of Zachary Baumel in 2019 and Tzvika Feldman in 2025, Katz’s return completes the mission to bring back all Israeli soldiers who went missing at Sultan Yacoub.

IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir called Katz’s return a significant national milestone and said the obligation to fallen soldiers had not changed over the decades: “We will leave none of our people behind.”

🔁 Know someone who should see this? northern Gaza’s Shati area, targeting a company commander, three platoon commanders and additional terrorists advancing attacks against IDF troops. One of those targeted had infiltrated Israel and participated in the October 7 Massacre. The IDF said further information on the strike’s results would follow; Gazan media later reported six people killed and 10 wounded, after initially reporting one killed and several wounded near the Gaza City port.

Prime Minister Netanyahu separately criticized Jared Kushner over his meeting with Hamas leadership and said targeted killings in Gaza would continue. Following subsequent meetings involving Kushner, Mladenov and President Herzog, the Prime Minister’s Office announced two working groups: one focused on Hamas disarmament and Gaza’s demilitarization before reconstruction, and another addressing sanitation, clean water and public-health issues affecting Gaza residents and Israelis.

A senior Peace Council official said the IDF would not redeploy out of Gaza until Hamas is completely disarmed and the Strip demilitarized, while Israel would retain the ability to act if Hamas attempts to rebuild its military capabilities. Netanyahu said Israel would honor its previous commitments. Kushner told Fox News that progress could be visible within a month, with efforts to remove weapons beginning and tunnels potentially being sealed over the following three months.

Officers from Uganda and Burundi also toured a base near Gaza ahead of the planned deployment of hundreds of troops from the two countries to the Strip.

⚓ IRAN AND THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ: President Trump said no talks with Iran are underway or planned and that Washington is not seeking an extension of the existing MoU. He said his objective remains an agreement preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, while maintaining that Tehran is unwilling to accept the terms he considers necessary.

Trump said the U.S. naval blockade remains in place, the Strait of Hormuz is open and operational, and all naval mines have been removed. He also said he liked the idea of declaring the Strait U.S. territory and threatened military action against Oman if it obstructed U.S. objectives in the conflict with Iran.

A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran is moving from a defensive posture to a “fully offensive” policy and is giving Washington “a few weeks” to implement the peace deal. The official warned that Iranian entities were prepared to increase pressure in the Strait of Hormuz and across the region if diplomacy fails.

Iran also launched two ballistic missiles toward the UAE, according to the Emirati Defense Ministry. One fell outside Emirati borders and the second in UAE territorial waters. Separately, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that Iranian forces seized an Emirati tanker near Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? confirmed Israeli airstrikes on Abu al-Duhur Air Base constitute an unnecessary escalation that does not advance regional stability. The Al-Sharaa government has neither adopted a predatory posture nor maintained proxy forces. It has, in fact, repeatedly indicated a preference for de-escalation with Israel. The US has in the past, and will continue in the future, to host discussions to encourage diplomatic cadence over kinetic frustration for both nations. Enduring deescalation agreements are built through sustained dialogues with all concerned nations and principals. The US continues to believe that restraint and engagement offer the more constructive course. We encourage all parties to prioritize logical discourse over further military incidents”.

Syria also acknowledged possessing nuclear material left from the Assad regime, stating: “It is our right to develop a civilian nuclear program.”

⚠️ U.S.-IRAN STANDOFF CONTINUES: President Trump said the United States is not seeking an extension of the MoU with Iran.

Trump said: “I want an agreement with Iran for one reason—to prevent it from obtaining nuclear weapons, but Iran is not going to sign the agreement that I see as necessary.”

He added: “No talks with Iran are taking place, nor are any planned. The naval blockade remains in place. The Strait of Hormuz is open and operational. All naval mines have been removed.”

Trump said: “They want to make a deal, but they are not going to make the kind of a deal that I feel is necessary”.

He also said: “I like the idea of declaring the Strait of Hormuz a U.S. territory. We have total control over the Strait”.

Trump issued a military threat against Oman, warning that Washington would launch airstrikes if Oman obstructed U.S. objectives in the conflict with Iran. “If Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the sh*t out of them,” Trump said.

⚓ IRAN THREATENS ESCALATION IN HORMUZ: A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran is shifting from a defensive posture to a “fully offensive” policy and is giving the United States “a few weeks” to implement the peace deal.

The official added: “All Iranian entities will be prepared to escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and across the region if diplomacy fails. Iran will not wait indefinitely for the U.S. to continue the naval blockade,”

❗️ IRAN FIRES MISSILES TOWARD UAE: Alert sirens sounded in the UAE before the Emirati Defense Ministry issued an all-clear. The ministry said Iran launched two ballistic missiles toward the country. One fell outside the UAE’s borders, while the other fell in Emirati territorial waters.

⚓ IRAN SEIZES EMIRATI TANKER: Iran seized an Emirati tanker near Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran’s Fars News Agency.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Likud 32, Shas 10, Otzma Yehudit 8, UTJ 7 and Religious Zionism 6. Eisenkot’s Yashar receives 24 seats, while Bennett-Lapid’s Together receives 6.

The Channel 14 result is currently the highest projection for the Netanyahu bloc among the cited recent major polls. Maariv has projected 48 seats, Channel 13 49, Channel 12 50, KAN 52 and i24NEWS 59. A simple equal-weight average of the six polls is approximately 53.5 seats, with a median of 51, meaning the broader polling picture does not currently show a clear 61-seat majority.

One of the most consistent findings is Eisenkot’s Yashar, which remains around 23–24 seats across polling firms. Much of the disagreement instead centers on Likud and Bennett-Lapid’s Together, with recent polls placing Likud between 21 and 32 seats and Together between 6 and 15.

The 3.25% electoral threshold remains a major variable. Several parties are currently polling below it, meaning relatively small shifts could redistribute multiple seats and significantly alter the bloc balance. Potential Arab-party unification could also reduce the risk of votes being lost below the threshold.

Current assessment: Channel 14 shows a viable path to a Netanyahu majority, but remains an outlier at the upper end of the polling range. Taken together, the cited surveys point more toward a hung Knesset, with the Netanyahu bloc presently averaging in the low-to-mid 50s rather than holding a secure majority.

Liberman responded to Eisenkot: “I will not join a minority government. A 58-seat government is out of the question.”

President Trump did not signal a preferred candidate, saying: “I think it’s best for me to stay out of Israel’s elections, but I might endorse someone.”

💥 ISRAEL STRIKES SYRIAN AIR BASE: The Israeli Air Force carried out four overnight airstrikes on Abu al-Duhur Air Base in eastern Idlib, targeting the runway. The base houses Syria’s fledgling post-Assad Air Force, including roughly two restored Su-22s, several L-39 trainers and older helicopters.

The strikes came after footage emerged showing Su-22s conducting training flights over northern Syria.

An Israeli official told Fox News: “Highly sensitive intelligence was shared with the U.S. in advance. It’s possible that al-Sharaa did not understand what was happening or was unaware.”

The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the strikes as “a violation of its sovereignty and a dangerous escalation” and said Damascus would defend its rights under international law.

An Israeli official told Axios: “The strike on the Syrian air base near Idlib was aimed at preventing Turkish military build up”.

A Turkish official told Axios: “There was no Turkish presence at the air base. Israel is inventing pretexts to bomb neighboring countries and destabilize the region”.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? The indictment states: “Planned an attack on the Forum nightclub in Beersheba using a car bomb.”

🇮🇱 YEHUDA KATZ RETURNED TO ISRAEL AFTER 44 YEARS: The IDF, led by the Intelligence Directorate and together with the Mossad, returned the remains of SFC Yehuda Yekutiel Katz to Israel and his family.

Katz, an Armored Corps soldier, fell during the Battle of Sultan Yacoub on June 11, 1982, during the First Lebanon War and had remained classified as missing ever since. His remains were located through a joint intelligence effort with the Mossad and brought to Israel.

An identification process was conducted at the Military Rabbinate’s Fallen Soldiers Identification Center in cooperation with the Medical Corps and Israel Police. Katz’s family had been kept informed over the years regarding efforts to locate and return him. His parents, Sarah and Yosef Katz, did not live to receive the news.

His return followed more than four decades of intelligence-gathering and operational activity involving the Prime Minister’s Office Missing and Captive Persons Coordinators, operational units in the Mossad and IDF Intelligence Directorate, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the IDF Manpower Directorate.

Katz’s return follows the recovery of SFC Zachary Baumel in 2019 and SFC Tzvika Feldman in 2025, completing the mission to return all of the missing soldiers from the Battle of Sultan Yacoub.

The IDF and Mossad extended their condolences to the family and said efforts will continue to return all missing persons.

IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir said: “The return of Yehuda Katz , the last fallen soldier from the Battle of Sultan Yacoub, is a significant milestone for the IDF and the State of Israel. Decades have passed, but our obligation to those who fell has not changed – we will leave none of our people behind. Today, we are bringing Yehuda back to an Israeli burial, to his family, and to his homeland, bringing to conclusion, a painful story that began more than four decades ago. The memory of the soldiers who fell at Sultan Yacoub will forever remain part of the IDF’s legacy and our commitment to future generations.”

🔹 LIKUD PRIMARIES: Final voter turnout was 54%, with 76,068 Likud members voting. Prime Minister and Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu said he was very pleased with the results and congratulated those elected to the party list.

Netanyahu said the new list reflects renewal and the integration of new figures near the top of the slate. He said candidates reserved for appointment by him would further strengthen the list and predicted Likud would achieve a major victory and form a broad national government immediately after the elections.

Netanyahu described this as the only way to prevent what he called a left-wing government involving Eisenkot, Yair Golan, Liberman and the Arab parties. He thanked Likud members who, he said, voted based on common sense rather than political deals, and also thanked candidates who did not secure places on the list, saying he intends to involve them in efforts toward a Likud victory.

🔁 Know someone who should see this?
