Palestinian media reported nine people killed and another 15 wounded. According to the IDF, at least four terrorists from Hamas’s military wing and one terrorist from the Popular Resistance Committees were present at the police station when it was struck.

The IDF said the terrorists were operating from the civilian police station to advance attacks against Israeli troops, using it for military purposes in violation of international law. 🎯 FOUR HAMAS NUKHBA COMMANDERS ELIMINATED IN AL-SHATI: The IDF confirmed that four commanders from Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force, all from the Beit Lahia Battalion, were eliminated in an Israeli airstrike yesterday in the Al-Shati area of Gaza City. Palestinian media reported that the strike on a cafe near the city’s port killed six people and wounded 14.

The IDF identified those eliminated as Muhammad Hamdi Ahmad al-Masri, a Nukhba company commander who advanced attacks against IDF troops; Samed Samir Harb Abu Habal, a Nukhba platoon commander who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre; Muhammad Attar, a Nukhba platoon commander involved in advancing and carrying out attacks against IDF troops; and Muhammad Fathi Hussein Nasser, another Nukhba platoon commander involved in advancing and carrying out attacks against IDF troops.

“The commanders’ activities posed a threat to IDF troops, and they were therefore eliminated in an aerial strike to remove the threat,” the military said.

🛟 IDF DETAILS SCALE OF GAZA HUMANITARIAN AID SINCE CEASEFIRE: According to the IDF, more than 2 million tons of food have entered Gaza since the October 2025 ceasefire. Around 600 trucks enter daily, with 70–80% carrying food, while food prices have fallen by approximately 72%. Forty-one internationally operated bakeries are producing more than 3 million pita breads per day alongside dozens of local bakeries.

The IDF says Gaza is receiving more than 70,000 cubic meters of water daily, exceeding 60 liters per person. The water system is supported by roughly 250 water trucks, 2,800 distribution points, four operational pipelines, desalination facilities and dozens of wells. More than 78,000 tons of hygiene and sanitation supplies have also entered.

More than 21,000 tons of medical equipment have entered since the ceasefire, while hospital-bed capacity has increased by more than 50%. Eight permanent hospitals, four field hospitals and four medical centers are operating in northern Gaza, while two permanent hospitals and eight field hospitals are operating in the south.

The IDF says the volume of aid entering Gaza exceeds humanitarian requirements assessed by UN agencies and international organizations. It accuses Hamas of interfering with humanitarian operations, exploiting civilian infrastructure and distribution mechanisms, and attempting to smuggle prohibited items under cover of aid. Israel says it will continue coordinating with international partners to expand the humanitarian response while preventing Hamas from exploiting it.

📍 ZAMIR TOURS ISRAELI-HELD BUFFER ZONE IN SOUTHERN SYRIA: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir toured the Israeli-held buffer zone in southern Syria this morning, according to the military. ⚠️ U.S. OFFICIALS CONCERNED OVER ISRAEL-TURKEY ESCALATION RISK: The Israeli strike frustrated White House and senior U.S. officials, according to Axios. The Israeli government notified White House officials in advance of the strike. Around three hours earlier, President Trump spoke with Turkish President Erdoğan by phone, although it is unclear whether the issue was discussed.

The Trump administration asked the Syrian government to show restraint, stressing that it would be easier to address the issue after the Israeli election.

U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack told i24 News that the strike “carried a real risk of rapidly escalating into a direct military confrontation between Israel and Turkey, as well as Syria.”

“The Turkish forces did not know that Israeli aircraft were heading toward this specific Syrian base, nor did they know what their objective was. Therefore, they might have decided to scramble fighter jets under the belief that they themselves were under attack. Yesterday's events were serious and concerning. ✈️ SYRIA AND REGIONAL AIRPOWER: The Israeli Air Force carried out four overnight strikes on Abu al-Duhur Air Base in eastern Idlib, targeting its runway after footage emerged of Su-22 training flights over northern Syria. The base houses Syria’s fledgling post-Assad air force, including roughly two restored Su-22s, several L-39 trainers and older helicopters.

An Israeli official told Fox News that highly sensitive intelligence had been shared with the United States beforehand and suggested Syrian leader al-Sharaa may not have understood or known what was occurring. Another Israeli official told Axios the strike was intended to prevent a Turkish military buildup. Turkey denied having any presence at the base and accused Israel of using pretexts to strike neighboring countries.

🕯️ YEHUDA KATZ RETURNED AFTER 44 YEARS: The IDF Intelligence Directorate and Mossad returned the remains of SFC Yehuda Yekutiel Katz to Israel and his family, closing a search that began after the Armored Corps soldier fell in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub on June 11, 1982, during the First Lebanon War.

His remains were located through a joint intelligence effort and identified at the Military Rabbinate’s Fallen Soldiers Identification Center together with the Medical Corps and Israel Police. Katz’s family had been kept informed throughout decades of efforts to locate him; his parents, Sarah and Yosef Katz, did not live to receive the news.

The operation followed more than four decades of work involving the Prime Minister’s Office Missing and Captive Persons Coordinators, Mossad operational units, IDF Intelligence, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and the IDF Manpower Directorate. Following the return of Zachary Baumel in 2019 and Tzvika Feldman in 2025, Katz’s return completes the mission to bring back all Israeli soldiers who went missing at Sultan Yacoub.

IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir called Katz’s return a significant national milestone and said the obligation to fallen soldiers had not changed over the decades: “We will leave none of our people behind.”

🎯 GAZA OPERATIONS AND DISARMAMENT: The IDF carried out a precise aerial strike on a meeting of Hamas Nukhba commanders in northern Gaza’s Shati area, targeting a company commander, three platoon commanders and additional terrorists advancing attacks against IDF troops. One of those targeted had infiltrated Israel and participated in the October 7 Massacre. The IDF said further information on the strike’s results would follow; Gazan media later reported six people killed and 10 wounded, after initially reporting one killed and several wounded near the Gaza City port.

Prime Minister Netanyahu separately criticized Jared Kushner over his meeting with Hamas leadership and said targeted killings in Gaza would continue. Following subsequent meetings involving Kushner, Mladenov and President Herzog, the Prime Minister’s Office announced two working groups: one focused on Hamas disarmament and Gaza’s demilitarization before reconstruction, and another addressing sanitation, clean water and public-health issues affecting Gaza residents and Israelis.

A senior Peace Council official said the IDF would not redeploy out of Gaza until Hamas is completely disarmed and the Strip demilitarized, while Israel would retain the ability to act if Hamas attempts to rebuild its military capabilities. Netanyahu said Israel would honor its previous commitments. Kushner told Fox News that progress could be visible within a month, with efforts to remove weapons beginning and tunnels potentially being sealed over the following three months.

Officers from Uganda and Burundi also toured a base near Gaza ahead of the planned deployment of hundreds of troops from the two countries to the Strip.

⚓ IRAN AND THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ: President Trump said no talks with Iran are underway or planned and that Washington is not seeking an extension of the existing MoU. He said his objective remains an agreement preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, while maintaining that Tehran is unwilling to accept the terms he considers necessary.

Trump said the U.S. naval blockade remains in place, the Strait of Hormuz is open and operational, and all naval mines have been removed. He also said he liked the idea of declaring the Strait U.S. territory and threatened military action against Oman if it obstructed U.S. objectives in the conflict with Iran.

A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran is moving from a defensive posture to a “fully offensive” policy and is giving Washington “a few weeks” to implement the peace deal. The official warned that Iranian entities were prepared to increase pressure in the Strait of Hormuz and across the region if diplomacy fails.

Iran also launched two ballistic missiles toward the UAE, according to the Emirati Defense Ministry. One fell outside Emirati borders and the second in UAE territorial waters. Separately, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that Iranian forces seized an Emirati tanker near Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz.

💥 SYRIA STRIKE RESPONSE: U.S. Special Envoy Tom Barrack said: “We are deeply concerned that the confirmed Israeli airstrikes on Abu al-Duhur Air Base constitute an unnecessary escalation that does not advance regional stability. The Al-Sharaa government has neither adopted a predatory posture nor maintained proxy forces. It has, in fact, repeatedly indicated a preference for de-escalation with Israel. The US has in the past, and will continue in the future, to host discussions to encourage diplomatic cadence over kinetic frustration for both nations. Enduring deescalation agreements are built through sustained dialogues with all concerned nations and principals. The US continues to believe that restraint and engagement offer the more constructive course. We encourage all parties to prioritize logical discourse over further military incidents”.

Syria also acknowledged possessing nuclear material left from the Assad regime, stating: “It is our right to develop a civilian nuclear program.”

⚠️ U.S.-IRAN STANDOFF CONTINUES: President Trump said the United States is not seeking an extension of the MoU with Iran.

Trump said: “I want an agreement with Iran for one reason—to prevent it from obtaining nuclear weapons, but Iran is not going to sign the agreement that I see as necessary.”

He added: “No talks with Iran are taking place, nor are any planned. The naval blockade remains in place. The Strait of Hormuz is open and operational. All naval mines have been removed.”

He also said: “I like the idea of declaring the Strait of Hormuz a U.S. territory. We have total control over the Strait”.

Trump issued a military threat against Oman, warning that Washington would launch airstrikes if Oman obstructed U.S. objectives in the conflict with Iran. “If Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the sh*t out of them,” Trump said.

He said candidates reserved for appointment by him would further strengthen the list and predicted Likud would achieve a major victory and form a broad national government immediately after the elections.

Netanyahu described this as the only way to prevent what he called a left-wing government involving Eisenkot, Yair Golan, Liberman and the Arab parties. He thanked Likud members who, he said, voted based on common sense rather than political deals, and also thanked candidates who did not secure places on the list, saying he intends to involve them in efforts toward a Likud victory.
